Sunday Sevens 2020 #7

Welcome to my Sunday Sevens – a post where I share seven (or so) photos of my week.

Have I mentioned it’s been a bit wet lately?

Yes, we’ve had yet another wet week. Two weekend storms (Ciara and Dennis) bookending yet another week of near constant strong wind and rain. Most of the week I’ve kept out of the woods, but on Friday I braved Burley Woods to find quite a few downed trees…

I also spotted this bow fallen off but not yet fallen.

On another walk Harry manged to get those really sticky spiky seed pods stuck to him. I pulled them off, but then couldn’t get them off my gloves…

Harry persists in being chivalrous and carrying my hats and gloves up the drive after a walk. This week he even offered to carry my gloves mid walk – but I quickly wised up when he dropped one next to a bush then cocked his leg on it…

Although it was pretty dark on Saturday this pool at Meldon was bright turquoise…

Another brighter note in my week was a trip to the Peter Tavy Inn for dinner and a scrummy pudding…

And finally a picture of Harry on a bridge…

Hope you’ve had a great week.

Until next time,

Sunday Sevens – 12th march

Joining in again this week with Nathalie at Threads and Bobbins for Sunday Sevens.

This week started off with a trip to one of our favourite pubs, The Peter Tavy Inn, for a late Sunday lunch. I was so busy scoffing, I forgot to take a pic until I’d finished eating. So Lovely Husband posed for a pic instead – apparently this is his suave  face…
