Remember the mittens I was knitting last week?
They’re finished!
I’m still trying to think of a name for them, for when I write up the pattern. Any thoughts?
Until next time,

Always a good moment. They are. The slip stitch pattern makes a nice thick fabric.

Thank you. I am going to write the pattern up and will post when I do. I’m now working on a fingerless pair in the same pattern – but different colours – so will put them both on the same pattern

Ow! I like those ideas. I thought the colours looked a little like little windows, so your suggestions feel very right. Thank you. and yes, do let me know if you have any more fab thoughts.

These look so warm and snuggly. I am a big fan of mittens! How about Winter Warmers.

They are. The slip stitch pattern makes a lovely thick squishy fabric. Thanks for your suggestion, it certainly describes them well.

Thank you. Nice idea. I’ll have to have a look again and see if I can spot the bluebells.
