Nice surprises

I’m always delighted when people share pics of what they’ve knitted from my kits or with my wool. I’m also very grateful that they’ve taken the time to share their pics. This week I’ve had two I can’t resist a blog post about.

First was this gorgeous shawl knitted in the Shetland/Ryeland blend…

  1. The shawl is rather gorgeous – love those blues!
If the sheep hasn’t already got a name he could be ‘Sting’ – an English sheep in New York – sorry, I’ve been on a ‘ladies lunch’ and had a glass (or 2) of wine.

    1. Thank you. It’s very exciting and I’m honoured people want to spend their time knitting with my yarn or my patterns. And doubly excited and honoured when they share the finished product with me πŸ™‚ Yes, the shawl is a beautiful design.

Ooh. My shawl is famous ! The designer is Ambah O’Brien, her patterns are fun and very wearable. And of course, the yarn is perfect – it is so soft and snuggly after blocking,. The purple especially is gorgeous, with shades and facets like a precious stone,

    1. Hi Carolyn. Thank you for saying all those lovely things about the yarn and thank you again for knitting such a beautiful shawl with it. As for famous, I’m indebted to you for giving my yarn it’s five minutes of fame in your shawl πŸ™‚ Thanks again for making something so lovely with it. I’ll take a look at Ambah’s patterns.

  3. Oh how brilliant to have photos of creations made with your kits and yarn! I sometimes get photos sent to me when things have been made from my patterns or tutorials, and I love to see them.
